Great little gem! Delicious homemade food and wonderful happy serve! D'Arcy was our server and she was a delight. All the servers were friendly 😊
My dad brought me to this place in Truro just off the highway. He said all the locals love it here. I can see why ! The atmosphere was festive .. and decorated for Christmas . The menu wasn’t overly large and to me that’s a good sign as it keeps the ingredients fresh. I had the liver and onions, dad picked hit hamburger sandwich. Both dishes were served promptly and were delicious. I wasn’t actually hungry when we got there , and despite that my plate was empty when we left .
Visiting Turo NS and came across the gem of a stop to eat. Busy with locals is always a good sign. Lots of parking with ramp for wheel chair access. The service was excellent. Had the classics: Fish and Clam chowder, Grilled haddock with creamy Cole slaw, Sea food platter. Delicious to the last bite. Fresh fish as expected and home style cooking.
My wife, family friends and I have been dining at Fletchers for many decades. We have NEVER had any reason to complain about our meals. In fact, just the opposite! It was always excellent service and food.Tonight Meagan waited on us. Wonderful lady and open and honest recommendations! A credit to her profession!!!
Food was great and well priced, location was convenient as well. Service was fast, and the fries were really well done. Only issue was suggested tips when paying debit were a bit high, and they tagged the classic “good, great, amazing” to each percentage which is annoying. Suggested tips should be 10, 15, & 20% fix that and this is an easy 5 star stop. Although the tips shouldn’t stop you from going.
Traveling through Truro over the weekend and had an amazing dinner at Fletchers. We were served by Megan and she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The apple crumble pie was delicious and made even better by the caramel Megan suggested drizzled over it. If you're in the area make sure to check out this local gem of a restaurant.
Absolutely fantastic breakfast at Fletcher's in Truro. I had blueberry pancakes with a side of ham. The ham was very flavorful and the pancakes were some of the best I have ever had. Absolutely chock-full of blueberries and delicious. As a side note, I am deaf and my server took special care to make sure that my order was correct. She checked back frequently to fill my coffee cup and see if there was anything that I needed. Very special treatment and I sure appreciate her concern. If I ever ride through this area again I will certainly stop, and can recommend them 100%.
